1. Wear of track
In the running mechanism of the dry track (as opposed to the lubricated track and the sealed track), the track is not lubricated, which causes wear between the track pin and the pin sleeve due to relative movement during the working process. The wear between the pin and the pin sleeve in the track is inevitable and normal, but this wear will elongate the pitch of the track and make the track too large. If this wear condition continues, the track will move sideways, which will cause wear of components such as guide wheels, support rollers, carrier sprockets, and drive gear teeth, and also aggravate the wear of track pins and sleeves.
The wear of the track is also manifested in the reduction of the height of the crawler bar due to the contact between the track shoe and the ground, and the height of the track link caused by the contact between the track surface of the track link and the guide wheel, the carrier wheel, and the roller. decrease. When the track shoes are severely worn, it will cause the loss of traction of the bulldozer.
2. Wear of the guide wheel
The wear of the guide wheel is due to contact with the raceway surface of the chain link, and the wear of the protrusion width of the guide wheel is due to the contact with the side of the chain link. The performance is: the reduction of the raised width of the guide wheel body; the reduction of the diameter of the raceway surface of the guide wheel body; the reduction of the diameter of the guide wheel body;
3. Wear of the drive wheel
Another form of wear on drive wheel teeth is top wear. Top wear occurs when the track and drive wheel teeth are filled with viscous substances, and the meshing relationship between the drive wheel teeth and the track pin sleeve is changed. When the bulldozer is moving forward, it will make impressions on the apex of the back of the tooth on the drive side of the drive wheel and the side of the pin sleeve.
4. Wear of supporting sprocket
The wear of the carrier sprocket is caused by the contact with the raceway surface of the track link. The performance is: the reduction of the flange width of the supporting sprocket; the reduction of the outer diameter of the raceway surface of the supporting sprocket; the reduction of the outer diameter of the flange of the supporting sprocket.
5. Wear of track rollers
The wear of the supporting roller is the same as the wear of the supporting sprocket and guide wheel, and it is also caused by the contact with the raceway surface of the chain rail link. The specific performance is: the reduction of the outer flange diameter; the reduction of the raceway surface diameter; the reduction of the double-sided inner flange diameter; the reduction of the double-sided inner flange width; the reduction of the outer flange width.
The following measures can be taken for the wear of the crawler walking mechanism:
1. If the bulldozer’s traveling mechanism has obvious wear in the early stage, stop the operation immediately, and check the coincidence of the center of the guide wheel, supporting sprocket, roller, driving wheel and the longitudinal centerline of the walking frame;
2. For the situation that the crawler chain track pitch becomes longer due to wear and tear, it can be remedied by reversing the chain track joints or replacing with new chain track joints.
