Ozone Generator Public Environmental Requirements

Use environment

1. The ozone generator system should be used in a well-ventilated, non-explosive, corrosive gas, and dust environment;

2. Temperature: The design operating environment temperature of the ozone generator system is 0-40°C. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0 °C, the cooling water should be drained in time when the machine is shut down to prevent damage to the equipment due to freezing;

3. Humidity: The relative humidity of the design and operation of the ozone generator system is less than 80%;

4. When the ozone exhaust processor is used outdoors, rain-shielding measures should be taken to prevent the rainwater from causing a short circuit of the equipment and electrical appliances.

Cooling water

1. The ozone generating device uses water as the coolant, and the cooling water temperature is preferably 15-20°C, and the general requirement is not higher than 28°C. When the cooling water temperature is ≤32°C, the ozone generator can work continuously, but the ozone output of the cooling water at 30°C is 10-20% lower than the rated output at 15°C;

2. The cooling water must ensure good water quality. Generally, the turbidity is not more than 10 degrees (NTU), the hardness is not more than 450mg/L, the chloride is not more than 150mg/L, the COD is not more than 100mg/L, and the suspended matter is not more than 10mg. /L does not cause deposition in the container, which is good for the long-term continuous operation of the ozone generator;

3. According to the site conditions, the cooling water of the ozone generator adopts open circuit or closed circuit circulation according to local conditions, or returns to the process of the water treatment system. According to the characteristics of water quality, take appropriate anti-scaling, anti-organic deposition and other measures.

4. When the site does not meet the cooling water quality requirements or there is no cooling water source, the chiller can be used for cooling. Especially in the southern region, the ambient temperature is high in summer, and the wet bulb temperature of the cooling tower is too high to effectively take away the heat generated by the ozone generator through the plate heat exchanger.

 Atmospheric pressure

The ozone generator is designed according to the standard atmospheric pressure, that is, the atmospheric pressure is 101.3KPa. The change of atmospheric pressure has basically no effect on the normal operation of the ozone generator. Correction, the influence of atmospheric pressure changes on the actual exhaust volume should be considered when selecting air compressors, cold dryers, suction dryers, and oxygen generators.

4. Gas source

 The gas used for ozone generation must be oxygen or a gas containing oxygen, and the gas should be free from impurities such as moisture, dust, oil, hydrocarbons (hydrocarbons) and hydrogen as much as possible. All of these impurities can adversely affect the ozone forming process and can cause serious damage to equipment.

The quality index of raw gas supplied to the ozone generator must meet the following requirements:

1. Moisture content: the dew point of the gas source is required to be lower than -45°C, preferably lower than -55°C;

2. Oil content: The oil content is required to be less than 0.01mg/m3 (21°C), preferably less than 0.003mg/m3 (21°C);

3. Impurity particle size: The impurity particles should be less than 1 μm, preferably less than 0.01 μm;

4. Temperature: Generally, the temperature should not be higher than 25°C;

5. Pressure: A certain pressure is required, generally above 0.1MPa, to ensure the stable operation of the ozone generator and meet the needs of the subsequent ozone gas delivery and dosing.

Power conditions

 The ozone generator uses a 380V/3ph/50Hz power supply, and the allowable voltage fluctuation range is ±5%. When the voltage in remote areas is too low, a corresponding voltage stabilizer needs to be configured.
